Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Pour the cold heavy whipping cream into a chilled mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer on medium-high speed, beat the cream for about 2 minutes until it begins to thicken.
  2. Slowly add the granulated sugar and salt, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form, being careful not to over-beat.
  3. Reduce the mixer speed to low and pour in the pure vanilla extract. Mix for 10-15 seconds until incorporated.
  4. Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the mixture one last time to ensure no pockets of unmixed sugar remain.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a metal loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Cover with a lid or foil and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until firm.
