Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream, cold
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp fine sea salt
Instructions:
- Pour the cold heavy whipping cream into a chilled mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer on medium-high speed, beat the cream for about 2 minutes until it begins to thicken.
- Slowly add the granulated sugar and salt, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form, being careful not to over-beat.
- Reduce the mixer speed to low and pour in the pure vanilla extract. Mix for 10-15 seconds until incorporated.
- Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the mixture one last time to ensure no pockets of unmixed sugar remain.
- Transfer the mixture into a metal loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Cover with a lid or foil and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until firm.
