Ingredients:

  • 1 lb long-stemmed organic strawberries
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 10 oz high-quality dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 tsp refined coconut oil
  • 4 oz white chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp festive heart-shaped sprinkles
  • 1 tbsp freeze-dried raspberry dust

Instructions:

  1. Wash the berries in a cold water bath with a splash of vinegar to remove wax. Immediately transfer to a lint-free kitchen towel.
  2. Pat each berry individually and let them air-dry for at least 15 minutes. Ensure the surface is bone-dry to prevent chocolate seizing.
  3. Place dark chocolate wafers and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring vigorously between each interval until a glossy, ribbon-like consistency is achieved.
  4. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  5. Holding by the stem, dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, rotating to coat. Allow excess to drip off before placing on the parchment paper.
  6. Melt white chocolate in a separate bowl. Use a small piping bag to drizzle accents over the dark chocolate shell. Immediately apply heart-shaped sprinkles and raspberry dust while the coating is still wet.
