Ingredients:
- 1 lb long-stemmed organic strawberries
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 10 oz high-quality dark chocolate melting wafers
- 1 tsp refined coconut oil
- 4 oz white chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp festive heart-shaped sprinkles
- 1 tbsp freeze-dried raspberry dust
Instructions:
- Wash the berries in a cold water bath with a splash of vinegar to remove wax. Immediately transfer to a lint-free kitchen towel.
- Pat each berry individually and let them air-dry for at least 15 minutes. Ensure the surface is bone-dry to prevent chocolate seizing.
- Place dark chocolate wafers and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring vigorously between each interval until a glossy, ribbon-like consistency is achieved.
- Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Holding by the stem, dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate, rotating to coat. Allow excess to drip off before placing on the parchment paper.
- Melt white chocolate in a separate bowl. Use a small piping bag to drizzle accents over the dark chocolate shell. Immediately apply heart-shaped sprinkles and raspberry dust while the coating is still wet.
