- 3 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and finely diced
- 1/2 cup finely chopped iceberg lettuce
- 1 can (3.8 oz) sliced black olives
Instructions:
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until no pink remains.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning and a splash of water; simmer for 2 minutes.
- Drain the beef thoroughly using a fine-mesh strainer to remove excess fat and moisture.
- Mix softened cream cheese, half of the sour cream, and 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning until velvety; spread as the bottom layer in a baking dish.
- Spoon refried beans over the cream cheese layer and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Distribute the drained seasoned ground beef evenly across the beans.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and chopped lettuce.
- Transfer the remaining sour cream into a piping bag or plastic bag with a small snipped corner.
- Pipe a sour cream spiral starting from the center moving outward to the edges.
- Use a toothpick to drag lines from the center outward to the edge to create the web effect, then garnish with sliced black olives.
