Ingredients:
- 8 Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla Beans (approx 1 oz / 28g)
- 8 oz (236ml) Vodka or Bourbon
Instructions:
- Carefully slice each vanilla bean lengthwise to expose the seeds, then cut the split beans into 1-inch pieces.
- Place the sliced beans into an 8 oz glass bottle using a funnel.
- Pour the vodka or bourbon over the beans until the bottle is full, ensuring beans are completely submerged.
- Seal the bottle tightly and store it in a cool, dark place.
- Shake the bottle vigorously once a week for a minimum of 8 weeks until the liquid shifts to a deep amber hue.
