Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, very cold
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk, chilled
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Pour the cold heavy whipping cream into a chilled mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium-high speed, whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a separate medium bowl, stir together the chilled sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently dollop about one-third of the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture and stir to lighten the base.
  4. Pour the condensed milk mixture over the remaining whipped cream and gently fold together using a rubber spatula with a 'cut and turn' motion until no white streaks remain.
  5. Line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper or plastic wrap. Pour the mixture into the pan, smooth the top, and cover directly with plastic wrap.
  6. Freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until firm.
