Ingredients:
- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
- ¾ cup (165g) packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs (100g)
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 2 ¼ cups (280g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp (5g) baking soda
- ½ tsp (3g) salt
- 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup (60g) crushed pretzels
- ½ cup (40g) crushed potato chips
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is pale and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, mixing on low speed just until no streaks of flour remain.
- Use a spatula to gently fold in the chocolate chips, crushed pretzels, and potato chips until evenly distributed.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dough for at least 45 minutes until firm and cold.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion the dough onto the baking sheets and bake for 12 minutes.
