Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup (150g) granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup (165g) packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs (100g)
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups (280g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp (5g) baking soda
  • ½ tsp (3g) salt
  • 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup (60g) crushed pretzels
  • ½ cup (40g) crushed potato chips

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is pale and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, mixing on low speed just until no streaks of flour remain.
  4. Use a spatula to gently fold in the chocolate chips, crushed pretzels, and potato chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dough for at least 45 minutes until firm and cold.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  7. Use a cookie scoop to portion the dough onto the baking sheets and bake for 12 minutes.
