Ingredients:

  • 12 oz mini pretzel sticks
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 24 small candy eyes or mini M&M candies

Instructions:

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Arrange 8 mini pretzel sticks in a starburst pattern for each web, ensuring the ends touch in the center and overlap slightly at the edges.
  3. Repeat the assembly until you have 24 webs spaced evenly on the tray.
  4. Place the chocolate wafers and coconut oil in a microwave-safe glass bowl.
  5. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring vigorously between each session, until the chocolate is velvety and smooth.
  6. Transfer the melted chocolate into a piping bag or a heavy-duty Ziploc bag with a snipped corner.
  7. Hold the bag approximately 1 inch above the pretzels and squeeze the chocolate in a circular motion, starting from the center and moving outward to create a spiral web effect.
  8. Apply a generous dollop of chocolate at the center point of the starburst to lock the pretzel sticks together.
  9. Add a small dot of chocolate on the outer edge of the web and place a candy eye or mini M&M candy on top to create the spider.
  10. Allow the pretzels to set at room temperature briefly, then move to the fridge for 40 minutes to fully set.
