Ingredients:

  • 113 g unsalted butter, melted
  • 200 g dark brown sugar, packed
  • 50 g egg, large
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 125 g all-purpose flour
  • 3 g salt
  • 170 g butterscotch chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your pan with parchment paper.
  2. Stir the melted butter and dark brown sugar together in a bowl until smooth. Whisk in the egg and vanilla until the batter looks glossy and well-combined.
  3. Gently fold in the flour and salt using a spatula. Stop mixing the moment no white streaks of flour remain. Stir in the butterscotch chips until evenly distributed.
  4. Spread the batter evenly into the pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the edges are set and pulling away from the sides, while the center still has a slight, soft jiggle.
