Ingredients:
- 113 g unsalted butter, melted
- 200 g dark brown sugar, packed
- 50 g egg, large
- 5 ml vanilla extract
- 125 g all-purpose flour
- 3 g salt
- 170 g butterscotch chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your pan with parchment paper.
- Stir the melted butter and dark brown sugar together in a bowl until smooth. Whisk in the egg and vanilla until the batter looks glossy and well-combined.
- Gently fold in the flour and salt using a spatula. Stop mixing the moment no white streaks of flour remain. Stir in the butterscotch chips until evenly distributed.
- Spread the batter evenly into the pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the edges are set and pulling away from the sides, while the center still has a slight, soft jiggle.
