Ingredients:
- 2 medium organic limes (approx. 130g), thoroughly washed
- 2 cups cold filtered water (475ml)
- 2 tbsp Monk fruit sweetener
- 1 cup crushed ice (150g)
- 0.25 tsp sea salt
- 0.25 cup concentrated Butterfly Pea Flower Tea (optional)
- 0.5 inch fresh ginger root knob
Instructions:
- Scrub the lime skins thoroughly. Trim the ends and slice each lime into 8 wedges.
- Place lime wedges, water, sweetener, and salt into the blender. Pulse 5–8 times only to avoid bitterness from the white pith.
- Immediately pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher. Press out all lime essence with a spoon and discard solids.
- Return the strained liquid to the blender. Add the ice and optional ginger or butterfly pea tea. Blend on high for 10 seconds until frothy and creamy.
- Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately while the foam is thick.
