Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz / 170g) Red Snapper Fillets
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Olive oil
  • 1 tsp (5g) Smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp (5g) Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp (3g) Kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp (1g) Black pepper
  • ¼ tsp (1g) Cayenne pepper

Instructions:

  1. Pat the red snapper fillets bone-dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear.
  2. Brush each fillet lightly with olive oil, then evenly coat both sides with the mixture of smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Place the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch. Cook for 8–12 minutes until the edges curl slightly and the surface is a deep, golden mahogany.
  5. Carefully remove the fish from the basket and let it rest for 2 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top immediately before serving.
