Ingredients:
- 3 cups granulated sugar
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 1 (12 oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow creme
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Combine the granulated sugar, evaporated milk, and butter in a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan. Stir well to mix.
- Bring the mixture to a full, rolling boil over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Boil vigorously for exactly 5 minutes.
- Remove the pan immediately from the heat. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until they are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Quickly add the marshmallow creme and vanilla extract. Beat or stir vigorously until the mixture is uniform, glossy, and velvety smooth.
- Pour the fudge quickly into an 8x8 inch pan lined with parchment paper or foil. Let cool completely at room temperature or chill until firm (approximately 2 hours) before cutting into 32 small squares.
